Biography
I have always loved creating something! I believe the art of creation comes from deep inside me, impossible to ignore. I am grateful for the experiences I've had and the friends I have made throughout this process.
Starting with doll clothes at age 10, I have been hooked on creating fabric items. I learned about texture through hand embroidery, crewel work, weaving, and crocheting. Now I use an Embroidery/Sewing machine, and since I started my own business, I combine my different skills and create interesting handbags, pillows, and wall hangings.
I love to experiment with different fabrics and designs, so each item is a unique limited edition creation. I handcraft every one of my products, so when you purchase a Cherie Carter Design, your money stays in this country, doing good things for our economy.
